1 : Sleep more!
A good night’s sleep is just as important as regular exercise and a healthy diet.
Research shows that poor sleep has immediate negative effects on your hormones, exercise performance, and brain function!
It can also cause weight gain and increase disease risk!!
In contrast, good sleep can help you eat less, exercise better, and be healthier!
2 : Focus on the small things!
Think back! what experiences, however mundane, gave you pleasure? Did you receive any praise or moments of good fortune?
Any milestones however small had been cleared in this time frame??
Give yourself a pat on the back for you have achieved something actually!
3: Do something physical!
Find an activity that you enjoy that brings awareness back to your physical body!
Whether it’s taking a break to practice throwing some darts, listening to music as you take deep breaths or going for bowling game with your friends.
You should pay attention to how your body feels on a daily basis.
4: Don’t be to hard on yourself, understand that it is ok to be disappointed!
Many life changing events such as weddings, vacations to even high school prom that people are looking forward too have been cancelled.
While we often look forward to these and got extremely disappointed, let yourself be upset for a while but understand that whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!
As a door closes another opens, things happen for a reason and you might have other milestones that you have completed due to this!
